By accessing or using Order Sensei, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Order Sensei Does

Order Sensei analyzes menu photos and provides AI-generated food suggestions based on your selected goals and preferences.

Not Medical or Professional Nutrition Advice

Order Sensei is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or professional nutrition advice. The app is provided for general informational purposes only. Recommendations are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a licensed healthcare or nutrition professional.

Allergy and Medical Condition Safety

If you have allergies, food intolerances, celiac disease, diabetes, pregnancy-related restrictions, or any other medical condition, you must take additional precautions before ordering or consuming food.

• Always verify ingredients, preparation methods, and cross-contact risk directly with restaurant staff
• Always disclose your allergies and medical conditions to the restaurant before ordering
• Follow advice from your licensed healthcare professional for medical and dietary decisions

Do not use Order Sensei for emergency or urgent medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

AI and Menu Accuracy Limits

• AI analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect
• Nutritional values and ingredient detections are estimates and may be wrong
• Menu photos may be unclear, partially captured, translated incorrectly, or outdated
• Restaurants may change ingredients or preparation practices without notice

Your Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

You are solely responsible for your food choices and for verifying whether a dish is safe for your needs.

By using the app, you assume all risks associated with relying on AI-generated output, including risks of allergic reactions, illness, adverse health outcomes, or related losses, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Usage Limits

• Free tier: 2 menu scans lifetime
• Weekly subscription: 20 menu scans per billing cycle ($4.99/week)
• Yearly subscription: 250 menu scans per billing cycle ($59.99/year, includes 3-day free trial)
• Yearly Lite subscription: 100 menu scans per billing cycle ($24.99/year)
• Top-ups: 10 menu scans ($1.99) or 50 menu scans ($12.99) per purchase, never expire

Plan limits reset at each billing renewal. Unused plan scans do not carry over. Top-up scans never expire and are added on top of your plan scans.

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies
• For Apple refund requests, we may provide limited purchase-consumption signals to Apple via RevenueCat to support refund adjudication

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer or copy the app
• Use automated systems to access the service

Intellectual Property

Order Sensei, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Order Sensei and its operators, affiliates, employees, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the app, (b) your food-ordering or consumption decisions, (c) your violation of these terms, or (d) your violation of applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We are not responsible for decisions you make based on app output
• We are not liable for injury, illness, allergic reaction, adverse health event, or other harm resulting from your use of the app or reliance on AI recommendations
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the app will not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (ii) USD $100

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
